Electrical Panel Upgrades

Electrical Panel Upgrades & Replacement

Your electrical panel is the heart of your home's power. Older panels — and known problem brands like Federal Pacific or Zinsco — can't safely handle today's AC systems, appliances, EV chargers and electronics. Flickering lights, warm breakers, or breakers that trip often are signs it's time for an upgrade.

What We Do

  • Replace outdated, unsafe or recalled panels
  • Service upgrades (100A → 200A and beyond) for added capacity
  • Add circuits for new appliances, additions or EV chargers
  • Bring older wiring up to current code

Safe, Permitted, Done Right

Every panel job is performed by licensed electricians, permitted, and inspected — because a panel is not a place to cut corners. We leave you with clearly labeled circuits and power you can count on.

FAQ

Electrical Panel Upgrades — Questions

How do I know if my panel needs replacing?
Common signs include frequently tripping breakers, flickering or dimming lights, a warm or buzzing panel, scorch marks, or a known problem brand (Federal Pacific, Zinsco). If your home is 25+ years old or you’re adding major loads, it’s worth a free evaluation.
Why upgrade from 100 to 200 amps?
Modern homes run far more than older panels were designed for — central AC, EV chargers, tankless heaters and more. A 200-amp service gives you the headroom to add those loads safely without nuisance trips.
Will a panel upgrade require a permit?
Yes, and that’s a good thing. We pull the permit and coordinate inspection so the work is documented, code-compliant and safe.
